Baseball & SoftballUnlike most sports, baseball and softball fences vary according to the land available, and the fence needs are dictated by the location and nature of the spectators. Safety Athletic Fence. For twenty years Qual Line Fence has built a unique fence for baseball outfields that is safer for athletes than traditional chainlink fence. This design is approved by the Madison (WI) Parks Department. The following features make a more "forgiving" fence, increase its flexibility and reduce the amount of solid steel for an athlete to hit when running.
Baseball & Softball Backstops. Modern safety concerns dictate that backstops be a minimum of 25' behind home plate. When they were built closer together in the old days, an overhang was often used. Nowadays taller backstops are the rule. The City of Madison (WI) Parks Division specifications include both 10' tall x 30' wide and 12' high x 60' wide backstops for softball, as well as a 16' x 170' backstop for baseball.
Sideline fences. Built to provide protection from the backstop to the outfield, this line of fence can vary in height and construction. Often the section from the backstop to the dugout is taller than the fence beyond.
Modular Backstop. Our pre-fab backstop is the easiest in the market to set up. Only two holes are required to anchor into the ground and assembly requires only eight clamps and bolts. Transfer is equally simple and legal with a pick up truck.
TennisForty years ago, U. S. Steel was the largest fence company in America. They exerted tremendous influence on fence specifications, always suggesting toprail. After all, they were in the business of selling steel. But the toprail is usually unnecessary, and we eliminate this whenever possible. Screening for privacy and wind can be added to the fence if the structure is built with enough strength to support the added wind load. Made of knitted high density outdoor fabric, screening needs to be applied securely in order to last. Nets, net posts and center tie downs are another element of tennis courts we can provide and install.
GolfThis netting stops golf balls along the fairway. Steel cable supports the netting's top and bottom. The height can be 6' to 50' high.
